More than 17 years of expertise in underwater technology.

Active in design, calculation and construction supervision of components and systems for manned underwater vehicles (e.g. Project Subspirit). 

Expert in all design, construction and testing requirements, as well as safety-related procedures and training for the safe operation and maintenance of manned submersibles.

Experience from over 15 years as a principal expert for underwater technology at the maritime classification society (technical testing organisation) DNV in Hamburg, formerly known as Germanischer Lloyd. Carrying out document approval as well as inspections, surveys, and trials for the classification (certification) or maintaining class of manned submersibles.

Certification of personal diving equipment (CE) being head of the Notified Body, as well as testing and approval of manned hyperbaric chamber systems.
